OK, I wasn't sure if I should reveal this as I have heard of people getting fired because their companies saw their blogs and didn't like their revealing photos or whatever. I don't really show "people" photos so it probably will be ok.
Anyway, the china company I work for is Villeroy & Boch. They make gorgeous, stylish things and I love working for them and "playing" with the china.
On the weekend I worked in one of the big city stores and visually merchandised most of the shop. That was fun!
While dusting and rearranging I fell in love with these plates. Part of a dinner set called "Aureus." I would love them as wall plates on my green feature wall. These plates are kind of sage green in real life.
I also fell in love with this bee cover, isn't it cute?
Thanks so much to all of you for your good wishes towards my cat, Tom. He is feeling a lot better and is back to stalking my kids. I'm sure he will be attacking the mail man in no time!

I love V&B! There is an outlet store here that I haunt once in awhile. I recently found a small V&B trinket box at the thrift store. Lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteHi just catching up with your blog. Your poor cat, we had a vet like that but luckily have found a really nice one now, more of a home from home with brilliant skills.
ReplyDeleteLove the plates!
Best wishes Ginny
Very cool job you have there, you could not get sick of the product. Tom "stalking the kids" - too funny!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your kitty is better,my poor baby goes to the vet again in a week. He's shown some improvement but not much.the vet wants to wait a week to evaluate.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful company to work for. So good to work with beautiful things.
ReplyDeleteSo glad your sweet kitty is feeling better. Those dishes are beautiful! It sounds like you have a very creative and fun job!
ReplyDeleteThose plates are beautiful!!! I'm also in love with them now...thanks alot! hehe (Glad Tom is doing better.)
ReplyDeleteOOOOO those plates are giorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe Villeroy plates are sooo ornate and pretty. I want to see them in real life. Hope Tom is feeling better.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a very interesting job!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear Tom is on the mend - one of our cats had a nasty leg break and nerve damage when he was barely a year old and he was treated with a homeopathic remedy by the vet - it did the job and he made a full recovery!
What a beautiful and inspiring place to work
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!!

Those plates are great, I dread to think how much they cost. The bee food cover would probably be more in my region of spending !! lol...
