This Elvis song is the one that goes through my mind as I drive through my new 'hood (I am too scared to walk!)This is the first time in my life I have lived in a genuinely "bad" suburb and it takes some getting used to.
Things I can no longer do -
1. Late night runs to the 24 hour servo for chocolate for fear of getting mugged/ carjacked.
2. Going for walks without the fear of getting mugged/ assaulted.
Well, we had to start somewhere! Hopefully we will be out of here within a year or two.
Looking forward to saying bye-bye to the ghetto!
